Two Men Face Charges Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was among those injured during the incident. Several persons required hospital care and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not being treated as terrorism – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
