The English side are set to play their final two group matches at Wembley, but, if they top their group, their round of 16 match would be held at the Newcastle stadium. Securing the runner-up spot would mean beginning the knockouts at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The tournament was inaugurated at an gathering in a London landmark on the previous evening. Key representatives from Uefa and the organizing bodies were confronted as they approached the location by about 50 pro-Palestine demonstrators, who demanded Israel’s national side to be kicked out from international football because of the conflict in Gaza.
Banners were held up with phrases saying “Show Israel the red card” and “You are complicit”, while demonstrators called out: “Kick Israel out.”

Wembley will host the two semi-final matches and the title decider, which will be held on a Sunday in July 2028 with a commencement at 5pm.
It is expected that an earlier kick-off, which will also be used for European club finals from the upcoming season, will attract households and help reach a broader range of viewers.
