Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

The rising star maintains considerable social media audience

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent backers when she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and often plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the best player globally," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to play, relax, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face several the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials stated that involving Kai brings the sport to new audiences, particularly among the next generation.

The young star has substantial online presence and just introduced her own fashion and living label.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
